General:
Name: Ichabod Crane
Nickname: The Headless Horseman
Gender: Male
Height: Around 6'5"
Weight: None, but with the armor he's about 80lbs (heavy armor)
Appearence: The Headless Horseman, of course, has no head, or body even, for that matter. He is clad in dark black armor, which is actually his entire body. He's just a hollow suit of armor, really. Though sometimes he gets out of the armor to show his actual body. (When in armor, he's invisible.)
He still doesn't have a head (he lost it, or it was stolen, rather), but the rest of his body is fully there. He is a tall, lanky man, with loose-fitting clothes. At a distance, one could have thought a scarecrow had escaped from a field.
~~
Personality: Ichabod used to be a rather shy man, though he was always smooth with the ladies. He loved ghost stories and the such, and was extremely superstitious. He told wonderful stories, and loved to be told them, but the stories he knew often had an impact on him, scaring him whenever he thought of them.
Now, though, he acts more in-character to the Headless Horseman persona, scaring people, being mysterious and scary and whatnot, but he's still the same old Ichabod underneath. If someone were to get to know him, they'd find that he wasn't such a bad person after all.
Sexual orientation: Heterosexual
Likes: Books, reading, singing, scary stories, women, etc.
Dislikes: Being scared, graveyards, old churches, etc.
Biography: Ichabod Crane used to travel around, working from town to town as a temporary teacher. He stayed at numerous farms and the whatnot, teaching as he went and all.
One year, he came to a place called Sleepy Hollow.
He taught there for a while, stayed at an old, grumpy farmer's house.
The ladies loved him, of course, but he had his eye on one Katrina Van Tassel, the daughter of a wealthy farmer.
But he, of course, wasn't the only one who had his eye on her. Many did, but Ichabod only saw Abraham "Brom Bones" Van Brunt, as competition, and vice versa.
Long story short, there came upon a time when the wealthy father of Katrina held a party. Ichabod was going to propose, but something had transpired (he doesn't elaborate much on that) and he was shot down.
While heading home, he was chased by the Headless Horseman, who was actually Brom Bones in disguise.
Bones, to be vague, killed Crane, and buried his body in the church graveyard, but not before cutting his head off.
Brom later married Katrina and lived happier ever after.
Crane, though? He woke up, eventually, angrier than ever. Brom not only took his lady, but he took his head as well! (What a jerk.)
Ichabod took on the Headless Horseman persona. He now takes his revenge on the offspring of Brom (the jerk) Bones and Kartina by terrorizing them...but when he can't find them, he just terrorizes people. Right now, he's in search of his head...because it'd be nice to have it.
Once he finds that, he can rest in peace. Poor Ichabod just wants his head, is that so hard to ask??
Family: N/A
Job in the group: Not in the group.
((Okay, correct me if any facts from the book are wrong, like sequence of events...party, thingy...yeah, haven't read LOSH in a while...))
